Before the holiday season was even close to beginning, I was already flipping through magazines filled with holiday recipes, getting ideas for baking season.  I immediately flagged a recipe for pretzel chocolate bark.  As someone who loves salty-sweet flavor combos, the recipe sounded so good and so easy, too!

A few months later, I became an OMG! Pretzels brand ambassador.  I received a few bags of their gourmet sourdough pretzel nuggets. Choosing their Salty Butterscotch flavor was a no-brainer!  I thought back to the pretzel bark recipe and knew the salty-sweet butterscotch flavor would be a perfect match for this holiday treat!

A little about OMG! Pretzels before we move onto the recipe:

OMG! Pretzels was officially started in 2014 by mother-daughter duo Lynn and Stephanie Kriebel.  But their garlic pretzel nuggets have been whipped up for friends and family out of Mama Kriebel's kitchen for decades!

Now, OMG! Pretzels offers a variety of poppable gourmet sourdough pretzel nuggets in both sweet and savory flavors.  Their pretzels are made with wholesome ingredients and are available online or in-store (use their store locator to find a store near you).

Now let's talk about this chocolate bark recipe!  Like I said, it's super easy to make and is a sweet treat to add to your holiday cookie trays.  All you need to make this chocolate bark is semisweet morsels, butterscotch morsels, toffee bits, and of course, Salty Butterscotch OMG! Pretzels!

Butterscotch Pretzel Chocolate Bark

After melting down the chocolate and butterscotch morsels, spread them onto a baking sheet, marble, and top with extra butterscotch morsels, Salty Butterscotch OMG! Pretzels, and toffee bits.  Let the bark set in the fridge.  Then, break it into pieces and enjoy!

Start by lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper.  Then, we're going to melt the chocolate morsels over a low flame.  Keep stirring until it's smooth.  Then, pour it onto the baking sheet and spread it evenly.

Next, melt the butterscotch morsels, but keep 1/3 cup on the side for topping.  Once the butterscotch morsels are melted and smooth, pour on top of the chocolate layer.  Then, use a butter knife to marble the two layers together.

Now we can add our toppings.  Top the bark with the reserved butterscotch morsels, crushed Salty Butterscotch OMG! Pretzels, and toffee bits.

Let the chocolate bark set in the fridge for about an hour.  Then, you can break it into pieces and serve or store.
