Carrot Cake Greek Yogurt Dip

Looking for a lighter dessert to serve after Easter dinner? Try this Carrot Cake Greek Yogurt Dip made with classic carrot cake spices - and of course carrots - in a creamy yogurt and cream cheese dessert dip. It can be served with your favorite sweet dippers like fresh fruit, graham crackers, or cookies.

  • 1 hand mixer or stand mixer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 oz. cream cheese or Neufchatel cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup carrots peeled and grated
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans chopped
  • Dippers: fresh fruit, graham crackers, cookies

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the Greek yogurt, cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla just until smooth.
  • Stir in the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and pinch of salt. Fold in carrots and nuts.
  • Cover dip and refrigerate 30 minutes so flavors can blend together.
  • Spoon dip into a serving bowl and serve with dippers such as fresh fruit, graham crackers, or cookies.

Notes

Want to add some extra sweetness to this dip? Add some shredded coconut or crushed pineapple (drained)!
