Easy Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Spears

These Easy Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Spears are made with just three ingredients! They’re a deliciously sweet and slightly salty appetizer, snack, or breakfast side dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 16 oz. container pineapple spears
  • 6-8 pieces Dry Rubbed Pork Bacon
  • 1.5 oz. Organic Vermont Maple Syrup
  • Optional: bamboo skewers

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400º. Prepare a large baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top. If using bamboo skewers, soak for 30 minutes prior to using.
  • Push a bamboo skewer into each pineapple spear.
  • Wrap each pineapple spear with one bacon slice
  • Then, lay seam side down onto the wire rack.
  • Brush the maple syrup onto each pineapple spear.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and crispy to your liking, flipping halfway through.
  • Let the pineapple cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Want to add a little kick to these pineapple spears?  Lightly sprinkle the pineapple with cayenne before serving!
