Easy Chicken Parmesan Poppers and Sliders – Game Day Appetizers

Ingredients

To make the Chicken Parmesan Poppers:

  • Tyson® Any’tizers® Popcorn Chicken
  • Marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese slices
  • Fresh parsley chopped

To make the Chicken Parmesan Sliders:

  • 1/2 package Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips
  • 15 oz. can tomato or marinara sauce
  • 1 package slider buns
  • 4 mozzarella cheese slices
  • 3 tbsp. butter melted
  • 2 tsp. garlic and herb seasoning
  • 2 tsp. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

To make the Chicken Parmesan Poppers:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Bake Tyson® Any’tizers® Popcorn Chicken on a baking sheet for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and spoon marinara sauce over each piece of chicken.
  • Using a pizza cutter, cut cheese slices into four smaller squares. Place a cheese square on top of each piece of chicken.
  • Place the chicken back into the oven for about 5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from oven and stick a toothpick into each Chicken Parmesan Popper.
  • Serve with extra marinara and chopped parsley, if desired.

To make the Chicken Parmesan Sliders:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Add Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips to a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven.
  • Cut slider buns in half and place each half, cut-side-up, on a baking sheet. Place buns in the oven and toast 5 minutes.
  • Remove buns from heat and place the chicken strips on the bottom half of the buns.
  • Spoon sauce over the chicken strips.
  • Top the chicken with cheese and cover with the other half of the slider buns.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and garlic seasoning together. Brush the top of the buns with the butter mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top and place back in the oven for about 3 minutes, or until the cheese begins to melt and turn golden brown.
  • Remove the sliders from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
