Pretzel Crusted Pigs in a Blanket
This Pretzel Crusted Pigs in a Blanket recipe gives this classic appetizer a major upgrade by coating wrapped hot dogs in crushed, flavored pretzels.

Ingredients
- 1 - 8 oz. container crescent rolls
- 4 bun-sized hot dogs cut into thirds
- Egg wash 1 egg, beaten + 1 tbsp. water, combined
- 1/4 cup Chesapeake Spice OMG! Pretzels crushed
- 1/4 cup Sweet Chili OMG! Pretzels crushed
- Optional: ketchup and mustard for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove crescent roll dough from tube. Roll out onto flat surface. Smooth seams to make one big sheet.
- Cut dough into 12 strips using a pizza cutter.
- Wrap the hot dogs, leaving room at the edges. Brush the tops with egg wash.
- Roll each hot dog in the pretzels, gently pressing down to coat the dough.
- Place the hot dogs onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with ketchup and/or mustard for dipping.
