Slow Cooker Apple Cider Pork Tenderloin

This Slow Cooker Apple Cider Pork Tenderloin is an impressive fall dish made with apple cider, Granny Smith apples, and a medley of delicious vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-1 1/2 lb. pork tenderloin
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground sage
  • 1 large Granny Smith apple peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups baby carrots cut into chunks
  • 3 celery stalks cleaned with stems removed, and sliced thin
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 small onion sliced thin

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season pork with salt and pepper and place into skillet. Sear on all sides. Then, place into slow cooker.
  • Add apple cider, apple cider vinegar, sage, apples, carrots, celery, garlic, and onion around the base of slow cooker, stirring to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Carefully remove pork from slow cooker and place on a platter.
  • Spoon the apples, carrots, celery, and onion around the pork tenderloin and serve.
