Vanilla Bourbon Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

Vanilla bourbon glazed bacon crumbles give these soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies a salty sweet flavor that’s addictive and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup bacon crumbles cooked and drained, leaving a tbsp. or two aside for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Cream the sugars and butter together in a mixing bowl.
  • Then, mix in the vanilla extract and two eggs just until combined.
  • Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix just until the dough starts to come together.
  • Stir in the walnuts, chocolate chips, and bacon crumbles.
  • Drop small, round spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving 1 1/2 inches between each spoonful. Top with extra bacon crumbles.
  • Bake cookies for 11 minutes, or until the center is set and edges are golden brown.
  • Allow cookies to cool on wire racks. Store in the fridge in airtight containers or cookie tins.
