Ingredients

  • 8 oz. bowtie pasta
  • Black food coloring
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package, or until al dente. Drain the pasta and allow it to cool.
  • Place the pasta into a Ziploc bag and add a few drops of food coloring. Shake the bag to coat.
  • Allow pasta to soak up food coloring for a few minutes. Rinse in a colander to remove excess food coloring.
  • Place pasta in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper, and toss to coat.
  • Add pasta to the air fryer basket. Working in batches, cook 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees, or until crispy.
  • Allow the pasta chips to cool. Then, serve with marinara sauce, or your favorite sauce, for dipping.
