Black and Blue Steak Bacon Salad

This Black and Blue Steak Bacon Salad is loaded with steak bacon and blue cheese in every flavorful bite!  It’s made on a bed of Romaine lettuce with onion, grape tomatoes, avocado, crumbled blue cheese, and strips of Godshall’s Angus Steak Bacon.

Ingredients

  • 6 strips Godshall's Angus Steak Bacon
  • 1 bunch Romaine lettuce cleaned and chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1 small avocado cut into chunks
  • 1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese or gorgonzola
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/2 cup croutons

Instructions

  • Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
  • Add Godshall's Angus Steak Bacon and cook 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Add the chopped Romaine lettuce to a large salad bowl.
  • Then, add the onion, grape tomatoes, avocado, and crumbled blue cheese.
  • Cut the cooked bacon into bite-sized pieces and add to the salad.
  • Toss to combine all of the ingredients. Then, drizzle the blue cheese dressing over the top of the salad.
  • Finish the salad by adding croutons on top and serve immediately.
