Chocolate Covered Date Spiders

Peanut butter stuffed medjool dates and pretzel sticks are dipped into dark chocolate to become deliciously spooky Chocolate Covered Date Spiders for Halloween!

Ingredients

  • 6 peanut butter stuffed medjool dates
  • 18 Whole Grain Sea Salt Pretzel Sticks broken in half
  • 1 - 10 oz. bag dark chocolate chips
  • 12 candy eyes or white sprinkles and black food coloring marker

Instructions

  • To prepare the dates, gently press 6 pretzels into dates, using 3 on each side.
  • Add dark chocolate chips to a small pot. Heat chocolate over low, stirring continuously until melted.
  • If desired, press a toothpick or short bamboo skewer into the date. Then, carefully dip the date into the melted chocolate.
  • Place chocolate covered date onto wax paper. While chocolate is still melted, press candy eyes onto date.
  • Allow the chocolate to set completely. Then, serve.
