Healthy Apple Donut Olympic Rings

These Healthy Apple Donut Rings might not actually be donuts, but they sure look like it! They’re a fun and wholesome snack that can be customized with a variety of fruit and yogurt flavors!

Ingredients

  • 5 apple slices
  • Plain or vanilla Greek yogurt
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Strawberries sliced
  • Pineapple chunks sliced
  • Kiwi sliced
  • Optional: lemon water juice of 1 lemon mixed into a bowl of water

Instructions

  • Use an apple corer to core an apple. Then, slice it up.
  • If you're not topping the apples immediately, soak slices in lemon water to keep them from turning brown. Pat slices dry before topping.
  • Spread a little Greek yogurt evenly onto each apple slice.
  • Then, top the apple slices with each different fruit and serve.

Notes

Tip: check out the pre-sliced fruit in your local grocery store. It ended up being cheaper to buy a combination of pre-sliced fruit than to buy each individual container!
