Ingredients

  • 2 packages refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 16 frozen Italian style meatballs slightly thawed
  • 1-2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsps. butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Optional: extra marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Open the biscuit containers and separate the biscuits.
  • Using a rolling pin, flatten the biscuits into a 4-5 inch circle.
  • Place 1 meatball into the center of the biscuit.
  • Top with a spoonful of marinara sauce and sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top.
  • Gather the edges of the biscuit dough around the filling and pinch the seams together to close.
  • Place the biscuits onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and garlic powder together. Brush on top of each stuffed biscuit. Then, sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
  • Allow the stuffed rolls to cool slightly before serving. Then, serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

These meatball stuffed rolls are also freezer-friendly. So if you happen to have leftover meatballs, you can put these rolls together, and freeze.  They're better if you freeze before baking.  Then, thaw and bake as directed.
