Equipment

  • 1 large baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 2/3 up pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 36 slices pepperoni
  • Egg wash 1 large egg, beaten with a splash of water
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • Extra pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into 9 equal squares.
  • Place about 1 tsp. of pizza sauce into the center of each square.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top, plus 2 pepperoni slices.
  • To form the bundles, bring two corners of the puff pastry together. Pinch the corners tightly to seal.
  • Carefully place the bundles onto the prepared baking sheet. Then, brush with egg wash.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top of each bundle. Then, bake for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve immediately with extra warm pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
  • If freezing, allow pepperoni pizza bundles to cool completely. Then, place on a baking sheet and freeze. Once frozen, store in foil or plastic wrap.
  • To reheat, heat at 400ºF for 18 minutes. No need to thaw the bundles before reheating.
