Puff Pastry Magic Wands

Turn puff pastry into magic wands filled with Dijon mustard, Parmesan cheese, prosciutto, and poppy seeds. They’re a delicious appetizer or snack for your Halloween feast!

Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • Egg wash
  • 2 tbsp. poppy seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheet into a large rectangle (about 1/8" thick). Then, brush half of the pastry with Dijon mustard.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and layer prosciutto on top.
  • Fold empty half of pastry onto the other half. Use a pizza cutter to cut pastry into strips.
  • Twist pastry into "wands" and brush with egg wash. Top with poppy seeds.
  • Place pastry onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve warm with extra Dijon mustard for dipping.
