These Ham and Cheese Sandwich Roll Ups are a fun alternative to your average lunch meat and cheese sandwiches. Serve them with a bowl of tomato soup for dipping!

Ingredients
8slicesof whole wheat or white bread
Dijon mustard
Italian seasoning
4slicesdeli hamcut in half
4slicescheddar cheesecut in half
Toothpicks
2tablespoonsmayonnaise
Optional: tomato soup for dipping
Instructions
Cut the crusts off of the bread. Then, flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
Spread Dijon mustard onto each slice of bread and sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
Place a slice of cheese onto each slice of bread, following with a slice of ham.
Roll the layered bread slices up and secure with a toothpick.
Spread mayo onto each sandwich roll up.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the roll ups seam-side-down in the skillet.
Cook the rollups on each side until they're golden brown and toasty and the cheese has melted.
Remove the toothpicks and serve with tomato soup for dipping, if desired.
