This quick and easy Fruity Breakfast Yogurt Sundae is a fun way to enjoy a fruit-filled breakfast with yogurt and nuts on a toasted Morning Round!

I’ve started making smoothies for breakfast.  Not every day, but when I crave something sweet and easy for breakfast.

Some of my smoothies have been so thick that I’ve had to eat them with a spoon like ice cream.  Not such a bad thing!  So I started thinking about other ice cream inspired treats that I could make for breakfast.

I kept thinking about making a breakfast style sundae.  But how would I do it while keeping it healthy?  Easy!  With yogurt, a Blueberry Morning Round, fresh fruit, and nuts!

The base of my breakfast sundae is a toasted Ozery Blueberry Morning Round.  They’re delicious sliced and eaten with butter or cream cheese.  And now, they’re even more delicious turned into a breakfast sundae!

So I spread some yogurt on top of the Morning Round.  Then, I added some sliced strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and pecans.  If you want to be extra, you could totally add a light drizzle of chocolate syrup on top!

This breakfast yogurt sundae is easy, fast, and fun!  If you can’t find Ozery Morning Rounds, I would suggest using a toasted blueberry English muffin half or a blueberry waffle instead. Then, top it with yogurt, sliced fruit, and nuts.

To start our breakfast yogurt sundae, we’re going to toast the Morning Round. No need to cut it in half!  Toast it as is.

Now, we’re going to slather the Morning Round with yogurt.  I like to use plain Greek yogurt or a thick, fruit flavored yogurt.  But you can use any type of yogurt that’s your favorite.

Here’s where our breakfast sundae really comes together!  Start slicing up half of a banana and a couple of strawberries.  Then, grab some blueberries.  Top the Morning Round with the fruit and finish it off with some nuts like pecans or walnuts.

If you need an extra boost of sweetness to your morning, add a light drizzle of chocolate syrup on top.  Then, dig in!

  • 1 Ozery Blueberry Morning Round
  • 3-4 tbsp. plain Greek yogurt, or your favorite yogurt
  • 1/2 small banana, sliced
  • 2 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 tbsp. blueberries
  • 1/2 tbsp. pecans, or walnuts
  • Optional: chocolate syrup


  1. Toast the Blueberry Morning Round.
  2. Place the toasted Morning Round onto a plate. Then, spread the yogurt on top.
  3. Add the sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries, and pecans.
  4. If desired, add a drizzle of chocolate syrup on top and serve.
