It finally feels like the seasons are starting to shift. And I don't know about you, but it felt like the longest winter ever this year. I am ready for spring, ready for longer days, and hopefully an abundance of sunshine and days spent in my yard and garden. With that in mind, I wanted to add some floral, garden-inspired items to my shop this month.

Even though it's a very small shop update this month, I'm bringing some spring vibes from my home to yours - and even my garden to yours! I have now included some flower seeds in my shop, which I'm very excited about. More on that later. I also started working with terracotta clay. I love how natural and earthy it is. So I created a few floral pressed items using this clay to my shop.

March New Product Launches

This month's tiny shop update will hopefully inspire you to connect with nature. Whether it's planting seeds or looking for the first buds to appear, I want to bring a bit of the outdoors to you. If you've been dreaming about a moon garden, I have moonflower seeds to get you started. I also made lavender pressed eggs and pressed flower magnets to help you decorate for the Easter and spring season.

Moonflower Seeds

I launched moonflower seeds late February. We've been growing moonflowers the past few years in our yard. Last year, I shared some seeds with friends who had a lot of success with them (and can now harvest their own seeds!). This year, I did some research, and found out that I'm able to share moonflower seeds, from my own garden, through my Etsy shop!

Moonflowers grow on tall, green vines and bloom at night. Their big white flowers attract nighttime pollinators and they smell incredible! Each packet contains 15 seeds and instructions for successful planting. Here in NJ, the seeds go in the ground in May. Check your zone for growing schedules.

Handmade Lavender Pressed Clay Easter Eggs

These clay eggs were inspired by my herb pressed Christmas ornaments. But for Easter (and Ostara), I decided to use terracotta clay and press them with lavender stems from my garden. Once pressed, I hand painted each one to bring out the detail of the leaves. After drying, the eggs are sealed and finished with a loop of twine for hanging.

Display these on an Easter tree, in seasonal displays, on your Ostara altar, or give them as a small gift to nature lovers and gardeners.

Handmade Pressed Flower Terracotta Clay Magnets

I found some round magnets in my craft stash. And since I was already playing with terracotta clay, I decided to create some magnets. These magnets are pressed with dried globe amaranth flowers. Then, they're painted and sealed. A strong magnet is glued on back. These are another great small gift or an easy way to add some natural charm to your fridge decor.

Follow for Updates

That's it for March! Of course, inspiration can happen at anytime (especially this time of year). So make sure you're following my Etsy shop for updates. I also hope to have my Michaels MakerPlace shop updated this month as well. I'm currently behind adding new items to that shop. I'd love to have that shop completely updated to get more eyes on my products.

Also, I should mention Easter deadlines. The last days to ship Easter orders are Tuesday, March 31 (Ground Advantage) or Wednesday, April 1 (Priority Mail). Please keep that in mind if you're shopping for Easter gifts. As always, thank you for supporting my small business!
