April is wasting no time making way for May. It is passing by in a blur. It’s been slightly chaotic at times but the anticipation for summer-like weather has been at an all-time high. We are at a midpoint in this season where it’s still spring but it’s slowly starting to feel a bit more like summer. We’ve already had quite a tease with some 80° and even some 90° days.

To celebrate this seasonal turning point, I’ve created a small Beltane-inspired collection for my shop. Each piece is designed to honor this shift between spring and summer, drawing inspiration from May Day traditions, colorful maypoles, fresh greenery, and blooming flowers. I’ve even included a special simmer pot blend inspired by Mother’s Day.

April New Product Launches

There’s a bit of charm and whimsy woven throughout this collection. Inspired by Beltane and the joyful spirit of May Day, each piece blends natural elements with bright color and layered textures. The Beltane brooms feel especially playful, decorated with delicate florals, greenery, and soft ribbons that capture the energy of the season. Each piece is designed to bring warmth and a little everyday magic into your home.

Mini Beltane May Day Cinnamon Scented Broom

Beltane and May Day are incredibly colorful celebrations with traditions including dancing around the maypole with ribbons and wearing flower crowns. I wanted to bring that symbolism into these brooms. So they're decorated with soft moss, a mix of dried and faux florals, an orange slice (to represent fire energy and the sun), and of course, some pretty ribbons.

There are a small batch of brooms available for now. Each broom will be rescented with cinnamon oil before shipping so it'll arrive highly fragrant. These brooms are perfect for hanging on doors, decorating shelves, or placing on your altar.

Nature's Awakening Simmer Pot Kit

Nature's Awakening is inspired by my favorite part of spring - when all of the plantlife starts waking up again. Greenery emerges from warm soil and flowers begin to bloom. The first bees start to buzz and the birds' chirps sound like a happy song.

This simmer pot kit is made with an earthy, herbal blend of lavender, rosemary, sage, thyme, with a touch of bright lemon.

Beltane Simmer Pot Kit

This simmer pot kit is inspired by Beltane celebrations. It's slightly floral and slightly spicy - a perfect combination for May Day. This blend is made with dried oranges, rose petals, hibiscus, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. It's a perfect representation of floral elements to welcome summer and spices to represent the fire festivals.

Mother's Day Simmer Pot Kit

With Mother's Day coming up, I made a simmer pot kit just for mom - or yourself, of course, if you like this blend! It's inspired by Mother's Day brunches and bouquets of flowers. This blend is made with strawberries, apples, lemon balm, calendula, lavender, and mint. Makes a great gift for moms! Tuck it into a gift basket or gift it with fresh flowers.

Follow for Updates

That's everything for April! As of now, I don't have any new items planned for May. I'm mostly focusing on getting my plants ready so I can use them in products. But you never know what can happen between now and then.

I also need to take yet another look at shipping costs. USPS will be making another rate increase on the 26th so I might have to readjust my shipping rates again. Make sure you're following my Etsy shop for updates.
