New fall and harvest season inspired items have arrived in the Holoka Home Etsy Shop including two new simmer pot kits, two mini scented brooms, and a brand new fragrance sachet.

Oh, how this time of year has snuck up on me! Yes, it's still summer to most. But for small businesses, we're gearing up for the holiday season. Within the past month, I've already sold a few of my Yule/winter themed mini scented brooms and an ornament. In my seller dashboard, I've seen plenty of people add holiday items to wish lists. So it's coming and my entire focus is going to be on prep next month - stocking up on supplies and creating new items.
In the meantime, I've added a handful of fall-themed items to the shop. I restocked my standard fall mini broom and added a new Mabon/harvest season broom. There is also an all new fragrance sachet scent, plus two new simmer pot kits. I wanted to embrace the return of cozy warmth, take inspiration from traditional harvest decor (think: wheat stalks and other dried grasses, foraged findings, and apples).
One of my simmer pot kits is also inspired by Practical Magic - one of my favorite movies. With the second movie being released next month, I just had to bring some Owens sisters magic into my shop.
August New Product Launches
This will be the last item launch before we go into full holiday mode. Of course, if inspiration strikes, I might add another new fall item or two. But, for now, the plan is to focus on harvesting flowers, herbs, and other plants from my garden to use in new items. It's been a weird growing season, but hopefully my patience will pay off. I have lots of ideas to bring more of my garden into your home.
Mini Cinnamon Fall Scented Broom
The fall mini brooms had sold out, so they were the first item I got to work on. The brooms are the same as they were, but maybe with just the slightest change in design. Each fall broom is decorated with an orange slice, cinnamon stick, mini pine cone, baby's breath, eucalyptus, and a pheasant feather. Then, they're scented with cinnamon essential oil.
These little brooms are traditionally hung by a door for protection. They also symbolize good fortune and cleanse negative energy.

Mini Cinnamon Mabon Harvest Scented Fall Broom
Mabon is a mid-harvest festival, which celebrates the autumn equinox and honors the balance of light and darkness. It's a time when seasonal fruits, grains, and vegetables (especially root vegetables) are gathered and prepared for the winter months ahead.
The celebration has fully inspired this new fall scented mini broom. This broom celebrates harvest season with decorations like a dried apple slice, cinnamon stick, mini pine cone, acorn, dried grasses, and a rust-colored ribbon to finish it off with a touch of autumnal color.

Harvest Kitchen Fall Simmer Pot Kit
In keeping with the harvest celebration theme, I created a Harvest Kitchen simmer pot kit. This fall simmer pot smells like a cozy kitchen. It's made with a blend of dried apples, dried lemons, sage, thyme, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, and pink peppercorns. While I was testing this simmer pot, my husband walked by and said it smelled apple pie-ish. It definitely brings all the fall vibes!

Moonlight Margarita Fall Simmer Pot Kit
When I first opened my shop, I said I wanted to take inspiration from Sally Owens' shop in Practical Magic. And now, with my new Moonlight Margarita simmer pot kit, the movie's inspired me yet again. This simmer pot kit not only smells light and feminine with a touch of midnight mischief, it also looks gorgeous while simmering. It's made with a blend of dried oranges, limes, lemons, shredded coconut, rosemary, lavender, and roses.

Orange and Clove Hand Stamped Fragrance Sachet
The last item I added was a new fragrance sachet. I wanted a really warm, comforting scent for fall and so I created an orange and clove sachet. This sachet is filled with a combination of dried oranges, cloves, rice, and orange essential oil. The muslin bags are hand stamped with an orange. Tuck these sachets in a drawer, locker, or even your car.
