It is time, ladies and gents!  It is time to start making all of those spooky treats and projects!  I shared a spooky season preview at the end of August, but now it truly begins.  And I'm kicking things off today with the easiest, cutest, sweet and salty treat to share with your ghoul gang!

Chocolate covered pretzels are undoubtedly one of the best treats, in my opinion.  It's that salty-sweet combo that does it for me every time.  Do you know what makes chocolate covered pretzels even better?  When they're made with flavored pretzels!

I made these adorable Halloween ghost pretzels with Sweet & Salty sourdough nuggets from OMG! Pretzels (check out the snazzy new packaging!).  They're flavored with a touch of cinnamon and raw cane sugar.  There's the perfect hint of saltiness that makes these one of my favorite flavors from OMG! Pretzels.

The pretzels are just the right size for these tiny little ghosts.  They're covered with white chocolate candy melts and decorated with black edible marker.  Once the chocolate dries, you're all set to snack on these irresistible Halloween treats.

The candy melts can be melted in the microwave in short intervals.  Once melted, you can dunk or completely dip the pretzels into the chocolate.  Set them out to dry on wax paper.  Then, turn them into ghosts with edible black marker.  So easy!

The first thing we need to do is heat our candy melts.  I usually start with half a bag of melts and add them to a microwave-safe bowl.  Then, I microwave the melts in 30 second intervals.

Sweet & Salty pretzel nuggets dipped into white candy melts and placed on wax paper.

Once smooth, we can begin dipping the pretzels.  I wanted these nuggets to look like they were wearing sheets.  So I did a dip instead of a full dunk.  Once dipped, I set the pretzels out to dry on waxed paper.

When the candy melts have solidified, I drew simple ghost faces onto them using black edible marker.  You could use black candy melts and a toothpick, but I thought this was way easier!

All that's left to do is allow the marker to dry.  Then, you can start snacking!
