We are totally obsessed with solar lights! The obsession started with pathway lights and has basically extended anywhere we could put them! It's gotten to the point where I'm starting to wonder, "How many solar lights are too many solar lights?" But we've spaced them out so they're not overwhelming. They give our backyard such a pretty glow at night!
With the days getting warmer, I've started to extend my backyard hangs well into the evening hours. Our deck is one of my favorite places to hang out this time of year. I usually have the deck set up with lots of solar lanterns. But with wear and tear over the years, I've had to replace some of our lanterns. Instead of buying a bunch of new lanterns this year, I recently found a really good deal on solar string lights to hang on our deck railing.
The deal was for a 2-pack of lights. We strung one up a couple weekends ago and decided to save the other string of lights as a backup. The night we hung up the lights, I stayed outside and waited for them to go on. Now, every time I pass a window, I peek outside to admire our new string lights. They even look good during the day when they're not lit up!
Our solar string lights have joined a variety of solar lights that illuminate our backyard. We have a solar lantern or two on our deck, a couple solar lights hanging on our shed, solar path lights on the side of our house, and one of our newest additions - solar landscape bricks placed around the bottom of our deck.
