Cook along with your favorite TV shows, movies, and celebrities with these 10 Pop Culture Cookbooks that’ll make a fun addition to your cookbook collection!

Our home updates are continuing into the fall this year.  Over the past month, I’ve been cleaning out our dining room to get it ready for new furniture and paint.  We currently have a dining room set with a buffet and hutch.  We’ve decided to replace everything with a solid wood dining room table, chairs, and hopefully a new mirror for the wall.

As excited as I am for our updated dining room, I’ve grown to love our old hutch.  It’s stored some of my favorite knick-knacks, holiday decorations, and a portion of my cookbook collection!  I’ve downsized to a corner bookcase, but still have room to display some of my very favorite cookbooks.

My 10 Favorite Pop Culture Cookbooks

I’ve displayed my signed copy of Vegetables from when I met Martha Stewart, a signed copy of Gordon Ramsay’s Healthy, Lean & Fit, and a few of my favorite pop culture cookbooks – purchased new and found under piles of old cookbooks in used bookstores.

Some of these cookbooks were really such amazing finds!  I found my hardcover copy of a Mary Poppins cookbook, a Wizard of Oz cookbook (check out the Toto-ly Delicious Apple Cake recipe here, and even a storybook villain cookbook at the used bookstore.  And some of my newest pop culture cookbooks are based off some of my favorite TV shows and celebrities!

  1. Doctor Who: The Official Cookbook: 40 Wibbly-Wobbly Timey-Wimey Recipes
  2. The Potterhead Cookbook: Authentic Recipes from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
  3. Eat Like a Gilmore: The Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Gilmore Girls
  4. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Cookbook
  5. Recipe for Murder: Frightfully Good Food Inspired by Fiction
  6. Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat: A Cookbook
  7. From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen
  8. Everything Alice: The Wonderland Book of Makes and Bakes
  9. Mary Poppins in the Kitchen: A Cookery Book with a Story
  10. Cooking in Oz: Kitchen Wizardry from America’s Favorite Fairy Tale

If you’re looking to add a new cookbook to your collection, any of these would be great additions!  The Potterhead Cookbook and the Snoop Dogg cookbook are still on my wishlist, but I’ve cooked out of many of the others (the TMNT cookbook has an amazing recipe for homemade pizza dough)!

Even if you’re not one to cook out of cookbooks, these are still fun to have on display in the kitchen or on a bookshelf!
