There's one more Holoka Home Etsy shop holiday update to share! This update includes two new nature inspired ornaments for your Christmas tree, a new holiday simmer pot kit, another shipping update, and holiday shipping deadlines.

Oh hey! Remember when I said that I probably wouldn’t have a November or December Etsy update? Well, I ended up adding a few more new items to my shop and remembered a couple important things I needed to talk about. So first, I have two more new ornaments available. Ornaments are one of my most favorite things to make! It wouldn't surprise me if I made one or two more before the season ends. I also have a new holiday simmer pot kit available. It's festive and fragrant!

The shipping saga also continues. Flat rate shipping is just not working for me anymore. The flat rate - even with the recent increase - still isn't covering some shipping costs and I'm paying the difference out of pocket. So I'm once again going back to calculated shipping costs. I'm hoping this will give me (and you!) a more accurate shipping rate per order. As I work out the kinks, just a reminder that any difference in shipping costs over $1 will be refunded.

Holiday Shipping Deadlines

While we're on the subject of shipping, let's talk about holiday shipping deadlines. Now that it's November, you might be thinking about holiday shopping. It's always a good idea to order as early as possible for multiple reasons (any product issues, making sure you get your items in time, etc.). In order to ensure you get your items in time, here are the recommended shipping deadlines for this holiday season:

  • Ground Advantage: December 17, 2025
  • Priority Mail: December 18, 2025

NOVEMBER New Product Launches

Now, let's get to the fun stuff - the new items! Like I said, I absolutely love making new ornaments whether they're for my shop or for my tree (and I usually end up keeping shop ornaments for my own tree cause I love them so much). I totally stuck with "natural vibes" for these ornaments and had a lot of fun creating them. I hope you love them as much as I do!

Scented Pine Cone Ornament

My cinnamon scented mini brooms are one of the most popular items in my shop. They inspired me to create another cinnamon scented item for the holiday season - scented pine cone ornaments.

These ornaments are one of the prettiest ornaments I've ever made. Scented pine cones are adorned with moss, dried rose buds, dried baby's breath, artificial greenery, and a cinnamon stick. They're scented with essential oil and have a gold ribbon loop for hanging.

Dried Luffa Handmade Snowman Ornament

A few weeks ago, I found a whole dried luffa gourd at one of our local grocery stores. I immediately purchased it. I'm jealous of people who grow these in their garden and turn them into homemade sponges. So I initially bought the luffa to make my own sponges.

However, luffas are pretty darn big. So I decided to turn some of my luffa into ornaments. So I made adorable little snowmen with clove eyes and a nose, pink peppercorn buttons, and a fabric scarf adorned with star anise. While these are for decorative purposes only, they'd add a naturally charming touch to your holiday decor.

Frosted Forest Simmer Pot Kit

I also put together one last holiday simmer pot kit. Frosted Forest is a combination I can't believe I didn't think of sooner! It's made with limes, cranberries, mint, cloves, cinnamon, and fir needles. It looks so festive simmering in a pot and smells fantastic, too! It's bright and fruity with notes of warming spice and cooling mint.

Follow for Updates

And that's it for November! Now, I honestly can't say whether or not there will be a December update. But I guess we'll see how things go this month. Things tend to pick up in November (I noticed a slight increase in sales over the past week or two already). Your best bet is to follow my shop on Etsy for any item updates. As always, thank you for supporting my small business!
