I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am that things are starting to settle down a bit around here. I can finally sit back and enjoy some of the magic of this wondrous time of year. Truth be told, at the beginning of this month, I was so swamped that I didn’t find myself getting into the holiday spirit as much as I usually do. Putting up decorations almost seemed like a chore this year. I didn’t even play Christmas music!
But as soon as my schedule started to free up, relief swept over me, the Christmas music got turned on, and I’m almost in the mood to do a little baking (almost)! I’m delighted that I can finally enjoy what’s left of the holidays! This includes my annual Christmas dinner with my cousin this week.
Every year, my cousin and I head to a nice restaurant to exchange gifts and catch up over drinks and some really delicious food.
