Rustic Wood Slice Snowman & Penguin Ornaments

Last year, I launched a DIY Rustic Wood Slice Snowman Ornament project on Darby Smart for the holidays. It’s been one of my most popular projects to date!  So this year I decided to give my snowman an arctic pal and created a wood slice penguin.  As you can probably tell, I love working with wood slices!  They easily add a natural, rustic touch to decor.

I love giving our Christmas tree a theme every year.  A couple years back, I decided to give our tree a woodland vibe. These ornaments would have come in very handy for that tree’s theme!  While I have no idea what the theme of our Christmas tree is going to be this year (and I better start cracking on ideas since it’s going up in exactly one week!), these ornaments are sure to be a fun addition.
