Every year, I go into the warmer months thinking, "This is it. This is the year I'm going to fully embrace the summer!" Then, the first really hot 90 degree day happens and I immediately start counting down the days until fall. We're in the midst of our first heatwave here in Jersey and that's exactly what happened. But no big because we've got air conditioning. Right?

Here's the fun part.

We put our smaller unit in the bedroom so at least we have that space cooled down. We would usually put our bigger unit that cools down the whole house in during the same time. But since we'll hopefully be painting the dining room soon (1. that's where the big AC unit goes and 2. I'm waiting to hear about a potential brand sponsorship that would help our paint project), we're delaying putting in the dining room air conditioner a little longer.
