Before Christmas, my mom and I had visited a holiday craft fair.  It was there that I got the inspiration to make DIY Washcloth Reindeer to give as gifts.  Bath products are always great last minute gifts to give.  When you can wrap them up as cute, little animals - even better!  The washcloth reindeer were easy to make and everyone I gave them to loved them.  So I decided to make an adorable, little washcloth bunny for Easter!

These washcloth bunnies would be perfect to give as a non-candy Easter basket filler (especially for tween and teen girls).  They would also be a cute gift to bring to your Easter gatherings.  That's an idea I might have to use myself!  We usually split our Easter holiday between two places and I'm sure the moms would love these!

If you're going to make more than one of these washcloth bunnies, I suggest buying a pack of white washcloths. It's cheaper than buying each towel individually.  I also like to buy Alaffia GoodSoap Bars from Whole Foods. They're reasonably priced, made with natural ingredients, nicely scented, and there's usually a good sale on them.

SUPPLIES

STEPS

  1. Heat a hot glue gun.
  2. Place a bar of soap in the middle of the washcloth.
  3. Fold each side into the middle.
  4. Wrap each end of the towel with a rubber band.
  5. Tie ribbon in a bow around the gathered ends.
  6. Glue a pom-pom and googly eyes to make the bunny face.
  7. Allow glue to dry completely and add as a cute non-candy gift in Easter baskets!

You'll definitely want to keep one of these washcloth Easter bunnies for yourself!  I have mine displayed in my bathroom.  It adds a little bit of unexpected Easter cheer to the room!

This craft project is so easy that you'll find these washcloths multiplying like...well, rabbits! They're an easy Easter gift that will look adorable in baskets or just displayed on a shelf in the bathroom!
