Chips and salsa are basically my kryptonite.  When I have soft tortillas leftover from making tacos or enchiladas, I usually end up making a batch of tortilla chips to snack on.

I'll cut them into triangles, lightly spray them with cooking spray, and add a sprinkle of salt.  Then, I pop them in the air fryer.  It's the quickest and easiest way to make them!

With Halloween just around the corner, I've seen a few brands advertising their Halloween tortilla chips.  A lot of them are heavy on the food coloring, which isn't my thing.  So I decided to make my own.

Using soft tortillas from Hungryroot (along with a couple of dips), I created Halloween tortilla chips just by using cookie cutters and my air fryer.

The tortillas are cut into spooky shapes, spritzed with cooking spray, and air fried until golden brown and crispy.  After they're cooked, serve them with your favorite dips - salsa and guacamole all the way for this girl!

Pretty much any type or any size soft tortilla would work for these chips.  Then, use any size or shape Halloween cookie cutter to cut out spooky shapes! I used a few of the cookie cutters from this set.  They're about 2"-3" big.

The amount of chips you make is up to you!  If you're making them for a crowd, you might want to consider using a whole package of tortillas.  I usually start with half.

Cut the tortillas using Halloween cookie cutters.  Don't toss the scraps!  Those can also be air fried and used to top soups, salads, and more!

Then, spritz both sides of the chips with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt.  Add chips to the air fryer basket.

Work in batches, if necessary, and cook for about 8 minutes at 360 degrees.  I shake the basket halfway through cooking to ensure each side cooks evenly.

Once they're done, serve the chips with your favorite dips, like fresh salsa and guacamole.
