I am not the biggest fan of fast food, but I recently babysat our niece and nephew and had nothing in the house to feed them for dinner.  After letting them choose what they wanted, we ended up at McDonald's.  I try to make healthy choices at fast food restaurants, but let's be honest - just because you order a salad at the drive-thru doesn't mean it's going to save your diet. Especially if you're like me and tend to order your salad with a side of fries!

I ended up ordering the Sweet Chili Chicken Premium McWrap and enjoyed every single bite of it!  This McDonald's wrap is made with grilled chicken, lettuce, cucumber, sweet chili sauce, and creamy garlic sauce all wrapped up in a flour tortilla.  The 360 calorie count surprised me.  I thought it would be a lot more.  I mean, it is from McDonald's after all!  Since I keep craving this wrap, I decided to try and recreate it at home.

This wrap is easy to make at home because there's no cooking required!  It's a great way to repurpose leftover grilled chicken.  Or you could use premade grilled chicken strips like Perdue Short Cuts.  I'm not quite sure how McDonald's makes their creamy garlic sauce. But I was able to find a Creamy Garlic Dressing that worked really well (and it's also very good on pizza)!

Making this copycat version of the McDonald's Sweet Chili Grilled Chicken Wrap is simple.  All you need to do is spread on the garlic sauce, layer on the toppings, and wrap up the tortillas!  It's fresh and delicious with a slightly sweet, sort of a tangy flavor with just a hint of spice.

If you want to warm up the tortillas before filling them, zap them in the microwave for a few seconds.  Then, spread some of the creamy garlic dressing on top.  You can look for a creamy garlic sauce by the prepared sauces in the supermarket, but you'll probably have an easier time finding a creamy garlic dressing.

Now, we're going to take our fresh veggies and start layering them on.  Top the tortillas with lettuce (I used Romaine) and cucumber slices.

I warmed up the grilled chicken strips in the microwave before placing them in my wrap.  You don't want to microwave them for too long or else they can dry out. Once the chicken is warmed through, place the strips on top of the veggies.

Last, we're going to add a drizzle of sweet chili sauce.  I love sweet chili sauce!  It adds a nice flavor to chicken and can be used as a dipping sauce.  It's more zesty than spicy so you don't have to worry about too much heat.

Now, you can wrap up the tortilla burrito-style and enjoy it on your own or with your favorite side dish or salad!

Sorry, McDonald's, but I think this wrap might be better than the OG Sweet Chili Grilled Chicken Wrap!  I don't need to leave the house to get my fix and it's probably healthier than the drive-thru version!  Plus, if you find that you want more or less of the ingredients, you can always adjust them to your liking.
