The Holoka Home shop and website is getting a makeover! See what's changing, what's staying the same, and what's coming to you fresh and new with this relaunch!

SURPRISE! Holoka Home is getting a bit of a refresh!
Long story short, some things have happened behind-the-scenes. And in order for me to separate myself from the situation, I have decided to reinvent my brand and relaunch my shop. This situation gave me the push I needed to tackle my "I'll get to it eventually" list.
I had an ongoing list in a notebook of things I wanted to do in/for my shop anyway. So what better time than now to start crossing things off that list? For now, there won't be too many changes here on my website. But it's going to look pretty different around my shop.
In the Shop
So first, my shop is taking a brief break while I work on relaunching. Holoka Home now has a brand new logo as well as all new products. My shop's focus will generally be on simmer pot kits. I want to give my customers what they want - and they seem to really enjoy the simmer pot kits I put together.
Some products that aren't selling will be deeply discounted and pushed out of my shop. I want to focus on what's selling. So again, simmer pot kits, fragrance sachets and bath salts, and handmade clay items. Eventually - like fall/winter - I hope to introduce an all new line of products.
You'll notice a change in my packaging. I'll be phasing out the plastic packaging and using some kraft paper packaging instead. Packaging, overall, will look a bit more professional. There will be new logo and description labels on all, or most, of my packaging. That also means new product photos are coming!
Simmer pot kit packaging will be larger in order to fit more whole slices of fruit. Packaging will also include silica gel packets to ensure quality and freshness. And each order will now include a business card and some extras, like stickers.
Not much will change with pricing although you might notice a slight price increase (like cents not dollars) in certain product listings.
On the Website
The only real noticeable change you'll see on holokahome.com right now is the website logo/header. Other than that, everything else will pretty much remain the same. For now.
Eventually, I would like to add a direct shoppable page to my website. I'm not entirely tech-savvy, so that's a work in progress that may or may not happen in the near future. Just putting that out in the universe for now!
That's about it! I hope that this hiatus won't take longer than a month. I'm trying to get things done ASAP, but I'm also not rushing it. I want to feel confident and organized with these changes once I reopen my shop. And, in case you're wondering, you can still expect weekly posts here on my website. The break is mostly for my shop.
