It was so nice over the weekend that my husband and I couldn't help but stay outside and work in the yard. We picked up new pots and plants and talked about our garden for this summer. I hung some pots of pansies in the front and back yard. I planted two pots of succulents and cacti and put them out on the deck. Then, we took our deck furniture out again. It's starting to look a lot more like warm weather season around here.
This time of year, we spent a lot of time at garden centers. If it's not for our yard, it's for spring birthdays and Mother's Day. While we started working on our yard, I began to think about DIY projects for the garden. I might have a obsession with garden stakes. After cleaning out some of my garden supplies this weekend, I realized just how much! But there's always room for a few more!
These suncatcher garden stakes are a great way to brighten up the garden. They'll also make a nice handmade gift for Mother's Day! Put your artistic skills to work or let the kids add their own personal touches to these stakes. Either way, these butterfly stakes will add a little more color to your yard and flowerpots!
