Let's just say it - this year has been quite the shit show and I've basically canceled everything. Birthdays, holidays, and everything in between have basically been just another day in my book. Having stores closed and online orders nearly impossible to have shipped on time has made it really hard to buy gifts. Especially when the calendar no longer seems to exist to me anymore.

I baked my parents a cake for their birthdays (they're a day apart) and my husband and I rebuilt my mother's garden for her as her unofficial Mother's Day gifts. Not knowing what to buy my father for his birthday or Father's Day isn't a new thing for me, but this year has made it slightly trickier. But I will be making him a shirt with my Cricut.

The design idea is pending, but there are a few things that my dad really loves - Mickey Mouse, Bigfoot, and Superman. Now, I'm pretty sure he's already got a bunch of Mickey Mouse shirts. And possibly some Superman shirts, as well. But that doesn't mean I still can't give my dad something "super" that he'll really love!
