Life is good right now. It’s Springtime, the days are longer, warmer and I get to work from home, doing what I love.  Sure, there are days that I don’t work 9-5 (some days I actually work 8-6, force myself to log off, make dinner, then hit my laptop again at night), but that doesn’t mean my days aren’t filled with things to do and places to go!  So today I’m sharing a day in my life with some special treats included.

7-8AM: Good morning!  Time to get up.  I need to get dressed and straighten up around the house before driving to my parents’ house.  I have a breakfast date with Dad today.  We do this about every other week to catch up and spend some quality father-daughter time together!
9AM: Breakfast sandwiches at our favorite deli.  We’ll be here for a while.  Dad and I can talk for hours!  We discuss what we’ve been up to and Dad gives me some good business pointers and advice on my upcoming projects.  I always appreciate his input and support!

10-11AM: Another great breakfast with Dad, but there’s work to be done.  Before I head home, I’m stopping at Walmart to pick up some treats for later!
12PM: Ah!  Just what I was looking for!  New Skinny Cow® Blissful Truffle Candy Bars and Skinny Cow® Vanilla Almond Crunch Bars!  These will get me through my mid-day slump!  Hello, chocolatey indulgence!

Skinny Cow® Blissful Truffle Candy Bars come in milk chocolate and dark chocolate and are available in the candy aisle.  Naturally, I picked up both!  I also bought a box of Skinny Cow® Vanilla Almond Crunch Bars from the frozen section.  These frozen treats come in two other new flavors including Double Caramel Swirl and Triple Chocolate Ripple!  Skinny Cow® recently released new Creamy Iced Coffee Drinks in Vanilla Latte, Mocha Latte & Creamy Cappuccino, as well.  Skinny Cow® is So Impossible. So Good.™

1PM:  Back home.  Caught up on some house related things I left behind and had a small bite for lunch (eaten at my desk) since breakfast left me feeling pretty full.  Time to log onto the computer and do a mid-day check on e-mail.
2PM: E-mail responses have been sent and social media posts have been scheduled for the week. Next, I’ll tackle photo editing, upcoming DIY projects and drafting blog posts.  My editorial calendar will definitely see some action this afternoon!

3PM: I’m starting to feel the 3PM drag kicking in.  It’s time to grab a pick-me-up.  Skinny Cow®’s Vanilla Almond Crunch bar should get me through the rest of the afternoon.  Who doesn’t love a creamy frozen treat on a warm, sunny day (especially when it’s covered in milk chocolate and almonds)?!?  Maybe I’ll take this outside with a pen, notebook and my phone so I can still get some work done while I enjoy my treat!
4-5PM: Back inside from my delicious, chocolatey break!  One last check on my blog and social media schedule before shutting down for the day.  Time to look over my notes, update my to-do list and prep my projects for tomorrow.

6PM: Time to start thinking about dinner!  My husband’s on his way home from work.  We’ll catch up over our meal, discuss our day and plan a walk for this evening.
7PM: Dinner’s cleaned up and our walking shoes are on!  It’s a beautiful evening for a stroll around the neighborhood.

Evening: Home, showered and spending the rest of the night winding down in the living room. It’s the perfect time for an evening treat.  Now the big decision – do I have a milk chocolate or dark chocolate Skinny Cow® truffle candy bar?
Bedtime: Tucked into bed and snuggled up next to my husband.  I’ll have sweet dreams over those Skinny Cow® treats tonight!
Every day is different, but mainly consists of the same blog and design focused work.  Some days I’m lucky to get a bit of extra time to indulge, too!  Follow Skinny Cow® on Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram for more delicious ways to indulge throughout your day!

How do you “treat” yourself during the day?
