In 2021, I finished one single book. ONE! In 2022...well, that book count went way up! My reading goal was 30 books and I surpassed it!
I kind of owe it all to finding not one, but two Little Free Libraries within walking difference of my house. It's been so much fun to discover new-to-me books and genres through these libraries. And also getting to share books I've read along with handmade bookmarks that I've been known to leave.
I've also rekindled my love for the local used bookstore. I like spending quiet mornings wandering the aisles, reading book covers, and bringing home small stacks of paperbacks.
Books I Read in 2022
So how many books did I actually finish reading this year? 49! Quite a difference from last year's total of one! While I've read so many fantastic page turners this year, I have to say that the Book Woman series and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo were probably my top favorite books that I've read.
