With Halloween just around the corner, I had an idea. I've already BOO'D It Forward to my parents' dogs. So I thought it might be fun to BOO It Forward to my "boo!" I have been completely hyped about the new Ghostbusters® movie that's coming out on DVD today. So I decided to create a date night BOO kit so I could treat my husband to a Ghostbusters® movie night in!
Halloween doesn't have to be all about tricks when you can treat someone you love! My husband works six days a week. Over the weekend, he worked a longer shift than usual. I wanted to surprise him with some goodies when he got home. I love leaving him "just because" cards and gifts every once in a while just to let him know how much I appreciate his hard work.
If we were going to have a movie night, we were going to need a movie to watch! The new Ghostbusters® movie is out on Blu-ray, DVD, and VUDU (digital copy) today. I can't wait to pick it up on DVD! But first, I decided to pick up the original Ghostbusters® movies from the 80's to watch!
We were also going to need snacks to enjoy while watching our movies. While I was at Walmart, I also picked up SNICKERS®, a mixed bag of Skittles®, Starburst®, and Life Savers®, and a box of Cheez-It® crackers. I completed my date night BOO kit with an American Greetings® Halloween card for my husband and a couple gift bags that I dressed up with monster stickers and filled with candy!
I also put together some easy ghost lollipops. These were always such a hit when I was in school and my mom would make them for parties. They're so simple to make! They're a perfectly festive treat to include in your BOO kit! Here's how to make them:
SUPPLIES
- Small, round lollipops
- White napkins
- String or ribbon
- Black marker
STEPS
- Cover a lollipop with a napkin.
- Secure it with string or ribbon.
- Draw a ghost face with black marker.
So how do you make your own BOO kit?
- Make a BOO Bundle.
- Secretly Deliver it.
- BOO it Forward.
Don't forget to print a special card on BooItForward.com! Shopping at Walmart was super convenient to put together a BOO kit for my husband! They had everything I needed from the movie, the candy and treats, to the gifting essentials like the Halloween card, stickers, gift bags, and more!
Shop Walmart or Walmart.com to easily make your own BOO kit for someone special! Look for Cheez-It® crackers in the snack aisle and the Halloween candy in the seasonal aisle of the store. All of the American Greetings® items can be found the in the celebrations aisles.
