Hello and Happy January! Welcome to a whole new year of the Holoka Home blog! There will be lots of new content this month including new recipes for winter (plus, one to start Super Bowl season), some easy DIYs, along with ways to watch out for wildlife during the cold season.
But today, I wanted to introduce some new products that are in Etsy my shop. One thing I learned last year was that I was doing too much too fast. I was constantly introducing entirely new products when it seemed like all customers wanted were the oldies but goodies.
This year, we're going to be working with variations. So new simmer pot kits, some new jewelry, and new prints and patterns for items like dream pillows and reusable handwarmers. I'll also be restocking items that sold out over the holiday season.
Restocked Items
I sold out of some of some simmer pot kits, a set of hand warmers, and dream pillows during the holiday shopping season. Since they're more wintry than holiday, I decided to bring them back for the cold season.
Peace & Prosperity Simmer Pot Kit
I created Peace & Prosperity with the New Year in mind. The blend of rosemary, ginger, bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, dried orange slices, dried apples, and dried lemons is cleansing and welcoming. It's a nice way to usher in peaceful, positive vibes for the first month of the year. I also recommend it as a housewarming gift.

Winter Solstice Simmer Pot Kit
Winter Solstice was obviously created for solstice celebrations. It's made with cinnamon sticks, rosemary, dried oranges, star anise, and cloves. It's a blend that welcomes the light (oranges and the fresh scent of rosemary) in the face of darkness (stronger spices like star anise and cloves).

Purify and Protect Simmer Pot Kit
This simmer pot kit is an oldie, but goodie and perfect for the cold season. This blend of cloves, dried eucalyptus, dried lemon slices, rosemary, and a cinnamon stick was made with one of my favorite essential oils in mind. Just like the disclaimer I added to this listing, I cannot claim this'll zap any nasty germs from your system. But it's a nice, cozy scent to simmer during the winter or sick days.

Green Forest Reusable Hand Warmers
This fabric is one of my most popular prints! Not only did these hand warmers sell out, but I've used it numerous times for my scented fabric ornaments.
If you're new to these hand warmers, they fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. All you have to do to warm them up is place them in the microwave and heat them for 20-30 seconds. Then, place them in your hands or keep them in your pockets if you're heading outdoors.

Dainty Lavender Pressed Necklace
My lavender pressed necklace is back in stock and new and improved! I'm using a lighter jump ring to attach the pendant to the necklace. The pendant is made with lavender purple polymer glaze and pressed with lavender leaves. The indentations are detailed with silver. The pendant hangs off of a silver chain with a lobster clasp.

Dream Pillows
My dream pillows made quite a comeback this holiday season and I sold out of a bunch of prints! So here's what's back in stock:

New Product Launches
Let's move onto the new products that have hit the shop! There's one new simmer pot kit, a new set of hand warmers, some new jewelry, new dream pillow prints, plus some new scented brooms.
Dream Pillows
So let's start with the dream pillows. Since they ended up being such a hit this holiday season, I decided to bring them back with all new prints. Here are the new prints to choose from:

Earrings
Earrings are now in the shop! I had some extra clay pendants from my necklaces and decided to turn them into minimal, but stylish earrings. The pendants hang on small hoops with a fish hook ear wire.
There are a few lavender pressed earrings in stock. They're made with silver hoops and hooks. I only have one pair of fir needle pressed earrings in stock. They're made with gold hoops and hooks.

Hand Warmers
During the holiday season, I added several holiday print hand warmers to the shop. I had just enough cat print fabric left to make a set of hand warmers. They're a teensy bit smaller than the other hand warmers, so they're marketed more for kids, or adults with tiny hands. I just had to make one last thing with that fun kitty print!

Winter Scented Brooms
My fall scented brooms were quite popular during fall and the holiday season. So I wanted to decorate some more with winter in mind.
These brooms are available in cinnamon or eucalyptus scents. Then, they're adorned with winter greenery, a dried clementine slice, star anise, a pheasant feather, baby's breath, white berries, and a green velvet bow.

Winter Berry Simmer Pot Kit
You know I couldn't do a shop update without adding a new simmer pot kit! Winter Berry was created with a snowscape dotted with red winter berries in mind.
It's made with shredded coconut (snow), dried cranberries, cloves, and cinnamon sticks. This blend is warm and cozy with a touch of sweetness.
